1:1 Messaging updates
On Insight Timer there are two types of direct messages meditators give and receive:
1. Chatting and sharing Insight Timer content between app friends.
2. A “Thanks for meditating with me” message from anyone in the community meditating at the same time as you (a ‘med-friend’)
You have let us know both interactions are valuable but we noticed 1:1 messaging with friends could easily get lost in a sea of gratitude messages.
Now the Messaging tab opens to chats with friends first. “Thanks messages” are one tap away, right above your conversations.
